v1.3 Changes. Level design, optimisations, fixes.


Thank you for playtesting our prototype up to now :). These are mainly fixes to some annoying parts around the level, performance optimisations, and a little experiment in variety for routes to get up to the factory. Oh, and most importantly for the speedy ones, the timer shows milliseconds now.

Flooded Level Changes

  • Modified existing route up to the factory. Added a piece to the factory wall, to give some more choices in how to climb upwards (around the area of the blockout building).
  • Added an extra alternate route to climb up the factory.
  • Performance optimisations. Should be at least ~30% faster compared to v1.0.

Collider Fixes

  • Mainly around the edges of the map to make it harder to go out of bounds.
  • Gave dystopian map edge walls proper colliders
  • Cleaned up the collider and area around the big archway on the right side of the flooded level.
  • Shrunk collider of water vents, so you can comfortably walk underneath them.

Other Changes

  • Increased the interact/pick up range by a small amount.
  • Vaulting onto an umbrella from below will no longer bounce you.
  • Timer shows milliseconds now.
