v2.0.1 Experimental
Some small things have been added to the experimental build:
- Wallrun reworked slightly. You now start moving downwards sooner.
- Wallclimb reworked/nerfed slightly. Less upwards momentum overall, with a very efficient wallclimb you can go up to 7m instead of 9m now. On average, wallclimb height is 5-6m (without using a jump to go higher).
- Upwards velocity when starting wallclimb matters less.
- Higher move speed when starting a wallclimb matters more.
- What this means: it is better to have a runup before you wallclimb.
- Running up a slope will take longer to impact your move speed (takes longer to slow down)
- Flooded level decorated further. Vegetation added, physics objects given textures. Painterly factory smoke.
- Music starts automatically when playing the flooded level.
- Cheat keybinds are shown in the pause menu.
- An interactive button was added at the start of the flooded level to toggle lighting settings. (Default, Polluted, Test)
- Tutorial level & How to Play screens updated to reflect the changes to movement (removal of double jump, changes to wallrun, wallclimb)
- Various print debug's removed.
- Fixed being able to double jump after striding.
Movement stuff that's being looked into:
- Parkour moves (e.g. speed vaulting) adding speed boost modifiers.
- Velocity being retained better when reaching high speeds then running on the ground.
